RGS Worcester (also known as the Royal Grammar School Worcester or RGSW) is an independent school based in Worcester, England. Founded in 1291, the school is one of the oldest independent schools in Britain.
RGS Worcester was originally founded as a secular monastic schools in Worcester at around 685, with the first written reference to the school appearing in 1265.
The school has a number of sports teams and counts Imran Khan, Jonny Arr, Tim Curtis, Dean Headley and Ben Warren among its alumni.
Tracing its origins back to the 600s, RGS Worcester is said to be the 6th oldest school in the world.
